Marisela Indio Concert reviews
great artists HORRIBLE venue
The performances were flawless but the experience was just not good. Janelle at the Tokyo dome last year was a musical highlight of my adult life, up there with the first time I saw U2 and BB King play the Cafe du Nord (and I didn't even know who she was when I went to that concert), so I can tell you it wasn't her performance. The talent and energy of both these artists were truly awe inspiring, but the crowd is so outrageously bad in the Graham that you cannot even hear their phrasing. Two minutes into his first set Marisela just stopped, stepped back and started laughing because there were so many thousands of young girls in the audience singing every word so loudly that sometimes you could not hear him over the acoustics - it was like seeing a Barney the Dinosaur in concert.
